Chairman
Robert is Chairman of Wigley Investment Holdings, leading the evolution of the business, which was originally founded by his father in 1964. He plays an active role with the Board of Directors collaborating with them on strategic growth while ensuring the various companies adhere to the guiding principles of honesty, integrity and trust.
Robert leads the way on the many significant community and charitable projects associated with the businesses. He currently sits as Chairman of The Wigley Support Fund. -

James was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2021, having joined the company in 2008.
He is responsible for the overall strategic leadership of the Holdings company and its performance, with a proven background in successful commercial property acquisition, investment and asset management.
James enables growth and diversification of revenue streams for the various businesses while continuing to create new opportunities for the Holding Company. James serves as Chairman of the Wigley Community Fund.

James joined the company in 2013 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2021, having previously served as Director of Operations.
He has created and continues to deliver the business infrastructure that allows the group’s businesses to evolve and expand.
James is responsible for operational planning and the delivery of the company’s strategic vision to ensure business continuity and long-term growth whilst overseeing all of the businesses that are part of the Holdings company.

After joining the business in 2016, Claire was appointed Chief Governance Officer in January 2023.
She is responsible for the regulatory and governance planning and delivery of the company’s strategic business vision to ensure compliance requirements are met. Claire also oversees all of the businesses that are part of the Holdings company and advises on staff strategic planning to ensure company longevity and growth.

Anna has been working with Wigley since 2013, initially on a one-off project and then becoming the company’s external accountant in 2015.
In addition to these responsibilities, Anna now represents us as a consultant Financial Director, leveraging her wealth of nearly 20 years’ experience working with a broad range of owner-managed businesses in a variety of sectors.
Having joined Charnwood Accountants in 2009, she has served as Partner for the past decade, managing a varied portfolio of clients from farmers to multi-million-pound turnover manufacturers.
As well as a Chartered Accountant Anna is also a Chartered Tax Advisor, specialising in the tax aspects affecting owner-managed businesses.

Alexis has been with the company since 2017.
She is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategies of the businesses, aiding decision-making by overseeing critical reporting and analysis whilst mitigating financial risk and optimising the company’s risk-return profile of all businesses.

Katie joined the company in 2020.
She is responsible for the strategic delivery of the company’s communications and brand management, concentrating on the protection, development and marketing of the businesses within the Holdings company.

Adorah joined the company in November 2024.
She graduated in 2022 with a BA (hons) in Interior Architecture and Design and previously worked as a Design Co-Ordinator for IOSH.
Utilising her knowledge and skills, Adorah works across the Holdings companies, gaining diverse experiences and opportunities for professional growth.

James joined the board in 2021 after advising the group and acting on its behalf for five years.
Formerly a construction lawyer, he now specialises in commercial investment and development matters. James works with developers and investors in delivering, acquiring, managing, funding and disposing of their assets.
He is a partner at JG Poole & Co Ltd LLP, leading the firm’s work in real estate in Warwickshire and the West Midlands. In 2020 he was ranked by Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ and described as ‘extremely efficient’.
Chambers & Partners 2023 says, ‘James will always give clear, concise and frank advice’ and ‘he’s a superb solicitor with fantastic attention to detail and a brilliant ability to communicate in simple terms.’

Adam Dent

Adam is the founder of Advent Communications and a fully qualified journalist with over 20 years of experience.
He helped build Advent to be one of the most respected companies in its regional sector and it acts for many of the key stakeholder organisations across the Midlands.
Adam masterminded the sale of the company to the PLMR Group, making it a top 100 UK communications firm, and has been retained as a consultant with the company. He has worked closely with Wigley for the last decade.
